A WARRINGTON man is in a critical condition in Walton Hospital after being hit by a car in the town on Saturday night.
The 35-year-old was crossing Mersey Street heading for Dutton Court at around 10.20pm when he was hit by a Black Chevrolet Matiz, driven by a 24-year-old man.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to call Sergeant Farnworth on 0845 458 0000, ext 3813.
