Men told to wise up!

WARRINGTON men are being challenged to ‘wise up’ this Christmas when it comes to buying undies for their better halves.
In a recent survey of Warrington women who had been treated to lingerie as a gift from their blokes, 88 per cent said that the giver had goofed it – choosing the wrong style, size or colour.
With 80 per cent of those surveyed still hoping for underwear as a Christmas gift this year, men are invited to attend a ‘Wise Men Shopping Event’ at the La Senza store in Golden Square Shopping Centre on Thursday December 17 from 5.30pm to 9pm.
During the evening, customers at La Senza will be able to take advantage of La Senza’s free, professional advice on picking the perfect size and style to delight their partner on Christmas morning.
A gorgeous model will also be appearing in the store window, wearing the La Senza Christmas range – to help inspire them.
Throughout the evening, shoppers will also receive an exclusive 15 per cent discount off all full price items and, at La Senza, all purchases are beautifully gift wrapped with scented beads, free of charge, to make Christmas shopping even easier.
La Senza store manager Kim Moate said: “Lingerie is such a thoughtful gift and can be a fabulous confidence boost for her too. We hope the ‘Wise Men Shopping Evening’ will help Warrington men to surprise their loved ones with the perfect Christmas lingerie.”
Ian Cox, marketing manager at Golden Square Shopping Centre, said: “By organising this event, hopefully we can help lots of ‘Wise Men’ to buy presents that their loved ones will remember for all the right reasons!”
