A MAN had a lucky escape when he was forced to jump from a bedroom window when his Warrington home caught fire on Saturday.
Fire crews from Warrington and Birchwood were called to Timmis Close in Birchwood after the alarm was raised at about 8pm.
The house was badly damaged by the fire and the man was taken to hospital to be treated for cuts and bruises.
