LYMM Roundtable are holding their annual Burns night charity event on Friday January 22 (7.00 pm to 7.30 pm) at Statham Lodge Hotel, Lymm.
The Traditional Burns Night Supper will include excellent “Scottish Wine” Tasting, guest speaker – Alfie Moore who appears to be the first policeman to have realised that life on the beat provides perfect fodder for stand-up.
Alfie is a standup comedian and serving sergeant with Humberside Police. He brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his sixteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been key to his success and survival!
The event will be compared by comedian Bill Woolland.
