Pub demolition
PLANS for the demolition of the Manor Lock public house in Westy Lane, Latchford,
Warrington to make way for seven houses and 11 apartments for use as social housing have been given the green light by borough council planning chiefs.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 8, 9, 10 and 12. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be “rolled over” to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of hospital staff.

Leisure centre plan
PROPOSALS for refurbishment of Woolston Leisure Centre, in Hall Road, Woolston, Warrington with a single storey extension have been approved by the borough council.

A CHRISTMAS craft fair and farmer’s market will be held at Oughtrington Community Centre, Lymm near Warrington on Sunday, November 29.
