Get online success

WARRINGTON Disability Partnership persuaded new users to surf the net when it held its first ‘Get Online’ open day in the town.
The event aimed to showcase what the UK Online Centres have to offer and was just one of over 700 events nationally.
UK Online is for all learners, from those who only know the basics of using computers and the internet to those who have some knowledge and want to know more.
Warrington Disability Partnership is a user-led voluntary organisation which employs 40 staff and over 100 volunteers who deliver a range of services for disabled people, their families and carers.
Maria McPartland, IT Facilitator at Warrington Disability Partnership said: “We are proud of the work that the Discover IT suite does and the place they have in the UK Online Centre team, so please give us a call for any help you think you need and ‘Get on Line’.”
Anyone who would like more information should visit www.myguide.gov.uk or call Warrington Disability Partnership.

  1. Hi Gary

Thank you to everyone at Warrington Worldwide for their continuing support.

The UK Online day was a great sucess for us locally and attracted lots of people who had previously never attempted to get online. We were able to demonstrate the support offered by Maria, Patrick and out team, and the different aids and adaptations that we have available.

Once again, thank you and keep up the good work.

    Take care.

    Dave
