Fire bomb attack

POLICE are investigating after a fire-bomb was thrown through a bedroom window in Warrington.
The attack happened at a ground floor flat on Gough Avenue, Longford at 3.30am on Sunday morning.
A large container of flammable liquid, possibly turps or petrol, was lit and thrown through the bedroom window, causing damage to the whole room.
The 29-year old occupant of the flat was inside with three friends when it happened but none of them were injured. They were still awake and were sitting in the living room at the time.
Fire crews were called and were able to extinguish the fire quickly, stopping it spreading to the rest of the property.
