Nuisance fires

FIRE fighters in Warrington were called out six times over the weekend to deal with ‘nuisance’ fires, started deliberately in wheelie bins.
The fires were all started in wheelie bins in different locations across the town.
A fire service spokesperson said: “It was the end of the school holidays and we’re in the run up to Bonfire Night now, so although this is higher than normal, we’ve come to expect it at this time of year.
“It’s a nuisance for us but its part of the job now, which is a shame, as it is waste of our time.”
