Celebrating magical books

0

BOOKS that spark children’s imagination, either by illustrations or magical language, will be celebrated in Warrington tomorrow (Friday).
National Bookstart Day will celebrate books for children of primary school age, and encourage parents and carers to enjoy books with youngsters.
The scheme aims to provide a free pack of books to every baby in the UK to encourage reading. Celebrations are held during Children’s Book Week.
In Warrington children from Locking Stumps Nursery will be joined by Warrington North MP Helen Jones to celebrate the 10th birthday of the Gruffalo books, written by Julia Donaldson, with stories and cake at Birchwood High School library.
