A FORMER holiday camp entertainer is hoping to set up a new drama group in Warrington to have fun and produce pantomimes.
James Day, of Old Hall, a revenue manager at Gulliver’s World, is hoping his new group the Old Hall Players will be able to stage Aladdin in January.
He has already cast himself – as Widow Twankey! – and is looking for other adults to join the group which meets at Gulliver’s World on Fridays at 7.30pm.
Anyone interested can contact him at [email protected] or by calling him on 07815 539798.
James who has recently moved to Warrington from Northamptonshire believes the new group will offer opportunities for people wanting to get involved in amateur theatre.
He previously worked for nine seasons with Haven Holidays as a professional actor, presenter and entertainer and is a member of the actor’s union Equity.
