'Knockout' new diplomas for schools

MORE than 100 year 10 learners from secondary schools across Warrington will gather in Victoria Park today (Thursday) to celebrate the launch of a new diploma qualifications in local schools.
The event aims to promote team building and confidence and will conclude with a special, ‘it’s a knockout’ style event complete with inflatables and lots of water!
The Diploma Challenge Cup will be presented to the overall winners – and this will become an annual event with the victors keeping the Cup on display in their school.
Local employers involved in the delivery of the diplomas will also be attending.
Diplomas on offer in Warrington schools are hair and beauty, construction and the built environment, engineering, society, health and development, business, administration and finance and creative and media.
