Artists open their studios

TWO Warrington artists are taking part in this year’s Cheshire Open Studios initiative – which gives members of the public to visit artists in their studios and find out what they do and how they do it.
Jane Bilton, of the Studioart Gallery, Warrington is inspired to paint mainly by animals and Beverley Seddon, of Peacock Avenue, Warrington works with textiles, inspired by women.
Both are opening their studios on September 19 and 20. Jane can be contacted on 01925 444909 and Beverley on 01925 818321.
Altogether, 61 artists are taking part in this, the 12th year of Cheshire Open Studios.
Twenty four are taking part for the first time.
A bonus for anyone who visits an artist and buys an artwork is that they can discover exactly what inspired the piece they purchase.
A full list of the artists and craftspeople involved, including directions to their studios and images of their work, can be found at the website www.cheshireopenstudios.org.uk and brochuires can be picked up from a library or Tourist Information Centre.
