Two jailed for prison disturbance

TWO men involved in what was described as a “serious disturbance” at Risley Prison were given jail sentences at Warrington Crown Court.
Ricardo Dickinson, 23, was sentenced to a period of imprisonment for the protection of the public, with a recommendation that he serve a minimum of five years. He had previously been found guilty of wounding another prisoner.
Rudolph Marsh, 37, was jailed for 30 months after being found guilty of assault.
The offences were alleged to have taken place during a serious disturbance at the prison on May 1.
