Boy attacked and robbed

A 17-year-old boy was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone at Warrington.
The youngster was walking along Lords Lane, Birchwood, using his phone to send a text.
He was confronted by a man who demanded that he hand over the phone.
After he handed it over, a second man appeared and struck him in the face, knocking him to the ground.
The offenders then ran off in the direction of Glovers Road.
One of the men was aged about 18, 6ft one inch tall and of slim build. He was wearing three quarter length beige trousers and a light blue top.
The second man had dark hair.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the attack on Tuesday, June 16 at about 8.30pm. Anyone who can help should call DC Adam Bolger on 01244 613834 or call the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
