Fancy dress fun run

A FRIENDLY community fun run, with the option of taking part in fancy dress, is being held in Warrington on Sunday June 14.
Birchwood High School is organising the 5km Mini Marathon Fun Run along a traffic free course.
Runners will gather before 10.30am and the run will start at 11am. All registered finishers will receive a medal.
A spokesman said: “The accurately measured run is an enjoyable and safe family course, using mainly country paths.
“The course is suitable for experienced runners, families, businesses and anyone who wants to enjoy the friendly community fun run.”
Prizes will be available for the first male and female in a variety of age group categories.
Entry fee is £5 for adults, £3 juniors (under 17), and costs £1 extra on the day.

Entry forms and cheques (payable to Birchwood High School) should be sent to the School, FAO Mr Gardiner, Brock Road, Warrington, WA3 7PT, with a stamped addressed envelope.
