Eagles land league title


CULCHETH Eagles Under 17s amateur Rugby League team has secured the North West Counties Division One championship.
The team won the championship with an impressive 14 wins out of 15 league games.
Coach Paul Wilshire said: “This season has seen the Eagles go from strength to strength playing some excellent free flowing rugby, reflected by a points difference of 440 points for Culcheth and only 96 against.”
It is the club’s first full season wearing kit sponsored by a Warrington Masonic Lodge.
Members of Warrington Temple Lodge say they are pleased to help the locally-run club which is making a positive impact in the community.
