Has watching this film inspired you to visit this fantastic country? Fly via Singapore from Manchester spending a couple of nights there before taking your final flight to Australia – call us for other routings that are available.
Fly into Sydney and experience the walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge but remember you will be breathalysed prior to the climb. This takes approximately 4 hours – you can have the opportunity of a practise climb and watch the training video. The spectacular views from the top of the bridge are worth every step you take whether you take the day climb or the twilight climb!! Why not enjoy a night at the Opera House or take a tour during the day and explore the architecture of the building. Have lunch in the revolving restaurant but don’t put your handbag or camera on the window ledge or you will be chasing it round the restaurant! Experience the night time sky line of Sydney while on a dinner cruise around the harbour. Don’t forget a trip to the Blue Mountains. When you have exhausted the sights of Sydney have a final fling and take a ride on a Harley Davidson across Sydney Harbour Bridge to Manley Beach.
Australia claims to be the only continent that can be crossed by rail from north to south and east to west. This can be done on famous trains ie Ghan and the Indian Pacific. Other options of travel if you don’t want to take internal flights you can hire a car or a motor home to travel up the Pacific Coast and visit Surfers Paradise, Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef not forgetting Dunk Island, cruise round the Whitsunday Islands,Port Douglas, Magnetic Island, sky dive on Mission Beach etc
Take a trip to Ayers Rock taking in authentic aboriginal cultural, spectacular rock formations of Uluru, the Olgas and Kings Canyon. Enjoy an evening with a Sound of Silence Dinner. You’ll travel to a secluded formal dining setting in the middle of the desert, and sip champagne as the sound of the didgeridoo fills the air and the sun sets slowly over Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Uluru (Ayers Rock). If driving or taking an organised tour does not appeal to you why not view the outback from the Ghan famous train running along side the highway. The train routing is from Adelaide-Alice Springs-Darwin.
We can put together and book an itinerary to suit your requirements – if you want to do any other the above whilst visiting friends and family we can add these in with your flights.
