Health Trust wants to talk

A PUBLIC consultation event is to be held in Warrington over the future of mental health provision in the borough.
The 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust – the body responsible for mental health in Warrington and four other neighbouring

boroughs – is seeking NHS Foundation Trust status.
This would give the Trust a greater involvement with the communities it serves and also greater opportunities for local people to get involved.
The consultation meeting is being held at the Town Hall on Wednesday, March 18 between 5pm and 8pm.
A Trust spokeswoman said: “The event will be a chance for people to hear about our proposals, find out what we do as a Trust and give people the chance to have their say on whether we should become a Foundation Trust.
“People will also have the opportunity to speak to our staff and sign up to become a member of the Trust.”
