Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 4, 10 and 16. There were no winners and the jackpot prize will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was paid out, however.

Vicarage demolition
PLANS for the demolition of Holy Trinity Vicarage, in Palmyra Square North, Warrington, to make way for a five-storey building with a restaurant on the ground floor and offices above have been given the green light by borough planners.

Later deliveries
THE Co-op have agreed not to allow deliveries at their store in Dudlow Green Road, Appleton, before 7.30am, following complaints from nearby residents.

School fence
St WILFRID’S CE Primary School, Grappenhall, has been granted planning consent for a fence, with gates, surrounding an electricity substation within the school
grounds.

Tarmac refusal
PLANS to provide hard standing in the front garden of a house in Southwold Crescent, Great Sankey, with gravel and tarmac, to provide a driveway and re-build of perimeter wall have been thrown out by planning chiefs.
