PARTS of a busy Warrington road will be closed for about 12 weeks from Monday March 23.
Temporary closures will

affect Ellesmere Road, Stockton Heath, to allow installation of a new 500mm water main as part of the Warrington supply improvement scheme.
The closures will affect the road from its junction with Walton Heath Road to its junction with London Road.
Work will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption.
The alternative route will be via Walton Road (A56) and London Road (A49) and will be signposted.

  1. Where are residents supposed to park while all this so called essential work is carried out? Walton Heath Road is to close prior to Ellesmere Road’s closure and resident’s there have been told to via letters to park somewhere else and inform their car insurance companies accordingly !?!?!? WHERE DO THEY SUGGEST PEOPLE PARK ??
