Five charged with jewellery robbery

FIVE men have been charged with robbery following the raid on a town centre jewellers’ shop at Warrington earlier this week.
The five – two of them juveniles were remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates.
They are Rhys Jones, 19, from Hulme, Manchester, Dujon Newell, 18, of no fixed address, a 17-year-old from Whalley Range, Christopher Richards, 43, from Stretford and a 16-year-old from Hulme.
The raid was at A Baker and Sons in Cairo Street at 11.15am on Monday, February 23.
