A WARRINGTON student, who hopes to be a barrister one day, is asking local people to vote for her in a beauty competition.
Mykie Allen, 22, of Culcheth, (pictured) is currently studying Law at Edge Hill University, Merseyside.
She is taking part in the regional finals of Miss Student UK at a nightclub in Liverpool on February 28, and is asking local people to vote for her on the competition website www.missstudentuk.com
The competition winner receives £10,000 and a holiday for two. If she gets enough votes on the website Mykie bypasses the regional heat and goes straight to the grand final.
Mykie, who has also worked as an admin assistant with a telecommunications company in Birchwood, also enjoys aerobics and jogging. She has done modelling and promotional work since she was a child.
She said: “The competition is not just about having a pretty face, it also tests personality and brains.
“I am hoping lots of people will vote for me, so I can go through to the final.”
