A MAN was robbed of his car as he walked his dogs in a Warrington park.
Police are hunting three men in their twenties who threatened the 65-year-old victim in Culcheth Linear Park, off Wigshaw Lane, Culcheth.
The man was walking two dogs in the park, after parking his silver Volvo car in the car park.
He was confronted by the three men who threatened with pieces of wood. They forced him to hand over his car keys and mobile phone and then ran to the car park where they drove off in the victim’s car. It is not known which direction they went in.
Police say there were numerous other dog walkers in the park at the time, around 4pm on Saturday (January 31).
They are anxious to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the car being driven away.
Anyone who can help should call DC Julie Cassie on 01925 615839 or 0845 458 0000.
