Parish council seeks new clerk

WALTON Parish Council is looking for a new clerk.
Current clerk Jan Englebert is standing down in April and the council is seeking applications from people interested in taking over.
The part time job – which is salaried – involves 28 hours work a month, including attendance at the monthly meeting of the council, which is on the first Thursday of the month at St John’s Community Church Hall, in Walton Village.
In addition, the clerk handles other council business, working from home.
