AFTER three previous sell-out concerts, the Pemberton Old Wigan (JJB) Band is returning to Christ Church, Croft, Warrington to present another varied programme of music to raise money for church funds.
The special St Valentine’s Day concert will be on Saturday, February 14 at 7.30pm at the church in Lady Lane, Croft. Tickets will cost £10, including wine and refreshments and are available from 01925 767714 or 01925 764127.

Hospital lottery
ONE lucky winner walked away with the £939 jackpot prize in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. The winning numbers were 1, 3, 5 and 8. A £25 consolation prize was also awarded to a hospital visitor.

New entrance
THE Toys R Us store at Europa Boulevard, Westbrook, Warrington, has won planning consent for a secondary
customer service entrance at the front of the store, along with other alternations to the building.

Osteoporosis session
AN osteoporosis screening session is being held at Holy Trinity Church, Sankey Street, Warrington on Wednesday,

Swimmer to sing
WARRRINGTON swimmer Aden Walker is to show off his vocal talents when he sings songs from “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”
in the final of the Halton’s Got Talent contest at the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, on Sunday, February 8. He is
one of 13 finalists.

Notice board
LYMM Parish Council is to foot the £100 bill for a new notice board at the side of the Parish Hall in
Pepper Street.
