TONY McDermott – leader of Halton Borough Council – has been reappointed to serve as a non-executive director of 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust, the body responsible for mental health care in Warrington. He will serve until March 31, 2013.
Mr McDermott was appointed to the Trust as a non-executive director in 2005. He is an economics graduate of Manchester University with a Diploma in Education and is a former teacher and lecturer in Liverpool.
Chairman Bernard Pilkington said: “I am delighted that Tony has been reappointed and I look forward to continuing to work with him over the next four years.”
