YOUNGSTERS are taking dog waste from bins and throwing it around in Stockton heath, a local resident has complained.
Resident Karen Dakin told the parish council the problem was occurring around Alexandra Park and Mill Lane field. She claimed youths were targeting three of four dog bins.
PCSO Peter Crellin said: “If we catch them we will take them back and make them clean up.”
He said officers were aware of young people gathering in the park, but allowed them to do so as long as they were quiet and cleaned up any mess they made.
