Takeaway in a semi plan

PLANNERS are being urged to throw out proposals to change a semi-detached house into a hot food takeaway shop.
The property in Church Lane, Culcheth already has an annexe which is an existing takeaway and this would be unaffected by the new application.
Warrington’s development control committee will be asked to consider the scheme tonight (Wednesday) – but members are being recommended by officers to reject it.
Officers say the additional takeaway would cause demonstrable harm to the living conditions of people living in adjacent houses because of noise and disturbance.
Three neighbours have lodged objections, as has Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council.
The borough council’s environmental protection department is also recommending refusal .
