IMPROVEMENTS are to be made to a Stockton Heath park in a bid to achieve Green Flag status next year.
Coun Graham Roughsedge told the Parish Council the aim was to get the coveted environmental award for Alexandra Park in 2009.
He said the park would be cleaned up and graffiti removed, repairs would be carried out, litter cleared and new planting done.
IMPROVEMENT are to be carried out at a local park to try and achieve the prestigious Green Flat status.
