A FIGHT in a local bar was reported to Stockton Heath Parish Council – but not to the police.
Resident Patrick Mullee said his two sons-in-law had been drinking at the venue a few weeks earlier when they saw a man punch a young woman in the face.
He said his two relatives intervened, one restrained the man and one helped the woman. He said everyone else looked on and the management did not report the incident to police.
Clerk Peter Briggs said any similar incidents should be reported to the police. If details were passed to him he would email them to the police.
