Sponsored by The Territorial Army, the Award honours a nurse with significant achievements in promoting and executing the fundamentals of patient care – inspiring real confidence in the care delivered by his team.

His input into the women’s service has been invaluable and he has made a real positive difference for women who previously had very little hope.
Described by his team as “calm, compassionate, energetic to change and persistent”, the judges said that Nick is “Inspirational in demonstrating how small steps can make a big difference to patients’ lives and the lives of staff.”
