Youth robbed at knifepoint

A 17-year-old youth was robbed at knifepoint as he withdrew money from a cash machine at Warrington.
The robbery took place outside premises in Green Lane, Padgate near to Bruche Heath Gardens.
The youth was using the machine when he was approached by a man described as being about 6ft 2 inches tall, of large build and aged in his late 20s or early 30s.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing dark clothing, with his face concealed. He was wearing a hat or hood.
The offender demanded cash and produce a knife and then snatched the money from the machine and ran off in the direction of Woolston High School. The victim was badly shocked but unhurt.

In a separate incident, raiders broke in a dental surgery in Dam Lane, Woolston. They caused considerable damage in the premises but are believed to have left empty-handed.
