PROJECTS funded by the Princes Trust in Cheshire and Warrington will get a cash boost if BiG Storage boss Andrew Donaldson can get through 24 hours of living in a secure self storage room.
Andrew and five willing volunteers are aiming to raise over £5,000 for The Prince’s Trust in the 24 hours leading up to the BiG Storage Cheshire Jets game vs. Scottish Rocks on November 23 in Warrington hosted at the Birchwood Centre.
The lock-in commences at 7pm on Saturday the 22nd at Chester BiG Storage as the intrepid group sign their freedom away and get locked up for the night.
Early Sunday morning the gang then have to get ready to cope with the journey locked in the back of various storage vehicles and transported all the way over to BiG Storage Warrington.
The gang, who all work for Andrew’s original Cheshire based business Active Supply and Design, have secured an early release, subject to good behaviour, for the last 2 hours of the 24 when they will be watching the BiG Storage Cheshire Jets live from the new “BiG ViP” room. They’ll be launching this new BiG ViP offering which consists of a courtside storage room full of the usual stuff you find in a self-storage room – settee, comfy chair, coffee table, lamp, fridge and a few chilled drinks!
Andrew said: “It’s a great fun way to boost funds for a great young persons charity, my original company was started with a £2000 loan from The Prince’s Trust seventeen years ago and I hope by taking part in this fund raiser I can help young people set up in business in Cheshire and Warrington. I just hope someone stocks the fridge and orders pizza’s in for the game!”
