SAS hero to visit town

FORMER SAS hero and well-known military author Chris Ryan will be giving a talk in Warrington on Wednesday November 5.
Chris will be at Padgate Library from 7pm and will talk about his life and career.
He was in the SAS for 10 years, during which time he became sniper team commander of the anti-terrorist team.
During the first Gulf War he was the only member of Bravo Two Zero to evade Iraqi attack and was awarded the Military Medal for bravery on the battlefield.
He has published an account of the Bravo Two Zero mission, written numerous adventure thriller novels, fitness and survival books and a range of teen fiction novels.
More recently Chris has provided military advice for television shows and video games, as well as co-creating and starring in the ITV drama, Ultimate Force.
Tickets are available from any Warrington library priced £2 (£1 concessions). Places are limited.
