PROSPECTIVE students are invited to an Open Day at the University of Chester’s Warrington Campus tomorrow (Saturday).
The event, between 11am and 3pm, offers would-be students the opportunity to meet tutors and tour the academic and accommodation facilities, with guided tours from current students.
Student rock band Cerberus, will be performing live as they record a single with assistance from commercial music production students. Also on-site radio station, the Cat, will be broadcasting live from the campus all day.
University of Chester pro-vice-chancellor Dr Chris Haslam said: “We understand that choosing the course and a university that’s right for you is a huge and often difficult decision. Our Open Days have a packed programme of events and activities to enable you to make that important decision.
“We’re sure you’ll leave with a real feel for what it’s like to be a University of Chester student. We hope you have a really enjoyable day.”
Other activities include watching sports coaching students working with junior rugby team the Woolston Rovers. Warrington Wolves Rugby League Foundation Group will be in attendance along with an appearance of mascot Wolfie.
