MORE than 90 tonnes of way was destroyed when fire broke out at a farm in Well Lane, Stretton, near Warrington.
Firefighters from Stockton Heath were called to the scene and created a fire break with the assistance of the farmer using a JCB.
The fire was then allowed to burn itself out.
Cause of the outbreak is still being investigated
