Volunteers wanted

VOLUNTEERS are urgently needed to help run Tuesday sessions for pensioners at the Jackson Avenue Day Centre in Culcheth.
About 20-25 elderly people meet at the centre every week for tea and biscuits, lunch, music and bingo.
A team of volunteers – some quite elderly themselves – help look after them, serving tea and lunch, organising games, etc. But their numbers have dwindled in recent years and more help is needed.
Anyone interested should contact Mrs Joy Davison on 01925 763487.
