Man robbed in town centre bar

A WARRINGTON man had his wallet stolen during an unprovoked attack in the toilets of a popular town centre bar.
The 28-year-old was grabbed from behind by one man in the toilets of 53 Degrees North bar in Bridge Street while another took his wallet from his pocket.
He managed to break free and escape from the club to alert police to the incident.
Two men, both from the St Helens area, aged 22 and 27, were arrested in connection with the incident but have since been bailed pending further investigation.
Police now want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the robbery that occurred between 1.50am and 2am yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
The victim is described as wearing blue jeans with brown shoes and a yellow t-shirt.
