TWO of Warrington’s long established law firms have teamed up with the motto “Now twice the practice!”
Forshaws Solicitors LLP and Davies Ridgway Solicitors have formed a new combined practice to be known as Forshaws Davies Ridgway LLP.
With 18 Members and around 150 staff, Forshaws Davies Ridgway LLP Solicitors is now one of the top 20 largest practices in the North West and one of the top 200 in the UK.
The new partnership came into force on July 1. Based in the heart of Warrington, and with branch offices in Frodsham and Stockton Heath, the new practice will continue to provide comprehensive and proactive services in the principal legal areas of commercial law, conveyancing, criminal law, family law, litigation and probate.
The two practices have a combined experience of more than 350 years of providing legal advice to the Warrington, Cheshire and North West communities and serve many of the area’s principal businesses and public bodies as well as the general public.
Deborah Hodd, Member at Forshaws Solicitors LLP said: “This is a very exciting time for both firms. We believe that this development will enable us to deal more effectively with the commercial and professional challenges that face lawyers at this time. This will also allow us to improve and develop the range of legal services which we offer to our clients.”
Charles Agar, Partner at Davies Ridgway added: “The new Practice will continue to work with existing clients whilst looking to provide Warrington and Cheshire with a law practice of sufficient stature and size to offer a truly viable alternative to the large practices in Manchester and Liverpool”.
An official launch party takes place at Walton Hall on July 8.
