CLASSIC cars of yesteryear will be on show at Warrington Market on Saturday, July 5, when motor enthusiasts’ group North West Casual Classics put on a major display.
Star of the show will be a Jaguar Formula One car, once driven by Eddie Irvine and Johnny Herbert. It is estimated to be worth more than £1 million.
There will also be an Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire Mk 2, the only one of its kind in the world, incorporating double twin headlights. As well as the casual classics there will be a brand new Jaguar XF, the latest model.
A documentary film is to be made on the day, capturing the market show featuring TV presenter Mark Olly of the “Lost Treasures” series currently being shown on Granada every Sunday.
The show will run from 10am to 5pm.
