A WARRINGTON primary school is looking to help smash a world record for the number of children taking part in a unique “walking bus.”
Pupils from Culcheth Primary school will form a “bus” and embark upon a trek down Shaw Street to the church and back again to the school grounds.
The school has decided to join in a national attempt to break the current Guinness world record of more than 80,000 pupils taking part.
Schools from all over the country will take part in walks on June 11, with the total number of those taking part nationally being added to calculate the record.
The event is open to every school and for more information about the attempt or how to take part, log on to www.brake.org.uk or contact 01484 559 909.
