BOTH Stuart Reardon and Paul Johnson have been ruled out for the rest of the season following the injuries they sustained in Saturday’s Challenge Cup defeat to St Helens.
It has been confirmed that Reardon needs a full reconstruction of the Achilles tendon following a specialist’s assessment, while Johnson requires his own reconstruction of cruciate ligaments.
Paul Cullen origninally claimed he “Feared the injury could be a very serious one,” for Johnson after the game, with a specialist confirming his fears yesterday.
The Saints game could have also cost Chris Riley a place in the squad to face Wigan after he damaged ankle ligaments during the televised clash.
