Knowsley South Youth 5 Warrington Town Youth 5

WARRINGTON Town Youth Team played out a thrilling five all draw against Knowsley South Youth as both team compete for the South Lancashire Youth League title.
Town fell behind in the opening five minutes when a scuffed shot managed to deceive Keeper Cameron Brown and find the corner.
Just seven minutes later Warrington were all square when Josh Guest fired a left foot shot into the far corner.
The game entered half time one all, with the second half starting in a similar vein to the first with The Yellows going behind again inside five minutes.
Again The Wire responded quickly, drawing level thanks to a low drive from Mike Sullivan that gave the Keeper no chance.
Sullivan was involved again with a superb through pass that allowed Guest to grab his second of the game and nudge Town in front.
Connor Anderson then looked to have given Warrington an unassailable lead when he delicately chipped the Knowsley Keeper.
This seemed to calm the game down and The Yellows started to play some neat football, however, it was knowsley who were to pull a goal back when a long ball caused problems in the Town defence and allowed an easy finish for the home striker.
The Wire re-established their two goal advantage with only seven minutes remaining when Kieran Driscoll slotted home.
This bizarre encounter had more twists left in it though as Knowsley pulled a goal back after bombarding the Warrington area with high balls, crosses and throw-ins.
With only three minutes left, Warrington succumbed to the home side’s pressure and conceded a fifth goal meaning it finished 5-5 when the full-time whistle blew.
