High school pupils get to know the Bard

0

BIRCHWOOD High School pupils will be treated to a special performance of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
Year nine learners will be in the audience to watch the Black Cat Theatre Company, the only education organisation affiliated to the Royal Shakespeare Company, perform a condensed version of the classic play.
It will reflect the traditions of travelling theatre of Shakespeare’s time and will be performed in authentic costume.
The performance is being hosted by the school to help the students with their Key Stage Three English studies.
