Police name motorway victim

A WOMAN who died after being involved in a collision with a lorry on the M62 at Birchwood, Warrington, has been named as 45-year-old Catherine Jane Martin.
Mrs Martin, who had been married for 22 years and had an 11-year-old-daughter, was struck by a lorry while on the motorway on Tuesday, April 8. She had left her car and was on foot when the accident happened.
She was born in Derbyshire and lived in the Garston area of Liverpool and worked as a qualified special needs teacher.
Her family describe her as a “warm, good natured person, who enjoyed reading walking and music.”
