WARRINGTON Town have managed to secure international clearance for Argentinean goalkeeper Diego Bassanini.
Bassanini, who holds an Italian passport and therefore does not require a work permit, is in contention to make his first start for the club against Kidsgrove Athletic.
The rigours of the Uni Bond Division One South league may come as a shock to the 6ft 6in stopper who has previously played for Botafogo in the Rosarina League in Argentina.
