THE A50 Knutsford Road, Latchford, Warrington is to be closed to traffic overnight on Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5 while a visual examination of the disused railway bridge is carried out.
Warrington Borough Council is making an order for the closure from 11pm on the Saturday until 5am on the Sunday.
Traffic will be barred from the section of Knutsford Road from its junction with Kingsway South to its junction with Station Road.
An alternative route will signposted be via Knutsford Road, Wilderspool Causeway, London Road, Grappenhall Road, Chester Road, Knutsford Road and vice versa.
