WARRINGTON Town came from a goal down to secure a much needed 2-1 victory over Cammell Laird at Cantilever Park wth two goals from Anthony Hickey (pictured above) netting all three points.
The visitors took the lead on 18 minutes when centre forward Aaron Bowen volleyed home from just outside the six yard box.
But Warrington levelled on 29 minutes through man of the match Anthony Hickey.
Despite having most of the possession Warrington struggled to find a second with Sam Finlay hitting the post after a mazey run, with Ada, Carden (pictured right) also side footing the re-bound against the opposite post much to the despair of the watching crowd.
It was Hickey who secured all three points with a second half penalty which he calmly rolled into the corner of the net.
Next up for Warrington is a trip to Prescott Cables in the 1st qualifying round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
