WARRINGTON Borough Council has extended consultation on its “unsound” Local Plan after becoming aware that not everyone received notification on the Proposed Main Modifications.
WARRINGTON South MP Andy Carter told a Planning Inspector there is plenty of brownfield land in Warrington, including Fiddler’s Ferry, and an application to build a gigantic logistics hub on the Green Belt should be rejected because it would drive a “coach and horses through the Borough Council’s proposed Local Plan”.
