ANOTHER 117 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington as infection rates continue to rise.

COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to rise in Warrington with another 135 new cases confirmed in the town.

ONE more COVID-19 death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital, where inpatient numbers are continuing to rise- with infection rates also returning to an upward trend in the town.

A total of 207 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Warrington, the highest daily number since mid-July, with hospital inpatient numbers also rising- although the seven day average has fallen for the first time in recent weeks.

WHILE no further COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital infection rates continue to rise with another 160 new cases in the town.

WARRINGTON and Halton Teaching Hospitals has been highly commended in the Patient Safety Team of the Year category at this week’s Patient Safety Awards for its Warrington COVID Cooperative.

TWO more COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital since last Friday while inpatient numbers have also risen to more than 30 as infection rates continue to rise with 158 new cases in the town.

COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to rise in Warrington with 101 new cases confirmed in the town.

WARRINGTON & Halton Hospitals has officially opened a new breast care centre at the Captain Sir Tom Moore (CSTM) building and a new modular pre-treatment centre to the rear of the CSTM.
